Overview

Keepstone is a private time capsule diary for writing, sealing, organizing, exporting, and revisiting personal memories. The app is designed with a local-first approach: your memory content is intended to stay on your device unless you choose a backup, export, import, or sharing flow.

Keepstone's App Store privacy label currently states that the app does not collect data.

Information you provide

You may create memory entries, future letters, capsules, titles, tags, dates, photos, voice notes, and related personal content inside the app. This content is handled locally by the app for the purpose of providing Keepstone's memory features.

Local storage

Keepstone stores app data locally on your device. If you delete the app or device data, locally stored memories may be deleted unless you created a separate backup or export.

Backups, exports, and sharing

If you use backup, export, import, or share features, you choose where that data goes. External destinations such as files, cloud storage, messaging apps, or email providers are controlled by their own privacy practices.

Biometrics

If biometric protection is enabled, authentication is handled by the device operating system. Keepstone does not receive or store your fingerprint or face data.

Purchases

Keepstone offers an optional one-time Supporter Pack in-app purchase for $0.99. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and may be validated using RevenueCat. Keepstone does not receive your full payment card details.

Support email

If you contact support, your email address and message contents will be used to respond to your request. Avoid sending sensitive memory content unless it is necessary for support.

Data sales and advertising

Keepstone does not sell your personal memory content and does not operate a social feed or advertising business around your memories.
